I just wanted to let you know that Marley is doing GREAT! She went to the vet this morning and had a flawless check up. Thank you so much for taking such good care of her! We had her micro chipped and she whined just a little bit...then went back to eating her cookie :)

She and Kula are getting along really well...Marley has no fear of ANYTHING, so she's pretty rough and tumble with him. She slept really, really well last night. She got up around 1:45 and went potty outside right away, then went back to sleep until 6:15. You did a great job teaching her "potty"....we used to have to wait FOREVER for Kula to go, but Marley just takes care of her business right away.

I just can't tell you how grateful I am for the love and care you gave Marley. She is just exactly what we were looking for in a puppy and we could not be happier to finally have her home. Please feel free to pass on my name, phone number and e-mail if you'd like to use it as a reference for future families. I would be more than happy to rave about you!!

from Maximillion (Hicks)

Just wanted to tell you some of the things I am doing.

I am having a great time with my new familly. We do alot of really neat things. I go pretty much wherever Lani and Jake go, and they made me a little bed for the car, so I have a comfortable place to ride...right between them . Everyone ooohs and ahhs over me, wherever, I go.

I have a lot of aunties, at least 6 that I can count, 2 grandmother's and tons of friends...allready! they love me so very much, and I seem to get alot of kisses. And guess what!. I give them right back.
My grandmother in Appleton always asks mommy when I can stay with them, and I make grandpa smile. Everyone says that I make them smile :)

Guess what! I am on my third puppy class at Petsmart. My teacher says I am doing very well. Everytime I take mom shopping at Petsmart, people stop to say hi and say how cute and beautiful my eyes are.....I love it and never get tired of the attention.

I attended my very first party! There were so many people there. Lani let me play with some of the little girls and boys at the party. I was a good little boy.....I didn't even leave a mess on the carpet. The little girls took me outside for a walk and I had fun. I was sure tuckered out at the end of the night.

I sleep through the night and usually get up by 8:00am. I am told that I am a really good puppy.
As soon as mommy prints off some pictures, I will have her send them to you so you can see my progress.

thank you for letting me be adpoted by Jake and Lani. They are the best. Just so you know, they treat me very well with the best of everything.

Love, Maximillion "Max

Just wanted to give you an update on our Molly Madrox (born 1/29/07 - Mocha was her dad) - two pictures for you (LOTS more if you want :). She's big now and INCREDIBLY smart.
She can follow basic commands - sit, crawl, roll over, turn around, etc. She'll also bow, go between your legs, and give her boyfriend the chimp a kiss if you tell her to. She loves walks, chomps on pine cones (she walks around with these in her mouth like a cigar), and loves to ride shotgun. :)

Thanks so much. Happy Easter!

Hope all's well.

Just thought I'd take a few minutes to tell you what a fabulous dog Willy is. If you ever need a testimonial or reference, don't hesitate to contact us.
Well, Willy is a busy guy. He has taken puppy kindergarten and is halfway through Dog Obedience Level 1—he's a smart little puppy and picks things up when we have time to work on them but he can sit, down, stay (a little), shake, rollover, and just be adorable. He goes to play groups or on "play dates" with friends' dogs whenever we can. Especially fun is a pint sized play group for small dogs. He has a blast—loves to mix it up with the bigger dogs but he's surprisingly gentle and not too over bearing with the Chihuahuas, mini- Dobermans and such. He is a little love machine, though, when he plays if you get my drift. Haven't heard any complaints though. A few days a week he goes to a dog day care while we're at work or school and he loves it—comes home one tired out little puppy from all the playing. And the staff there just loves him. We tried one night of boarding at the same facility this weekend just to get him used to it and the staff person I picked him up from said he plays well with all the dogs—"not a dog or a person that he doesn't like." Everywhere we go, people remark about his beautiful colors and markings—we decided he's a turtle sundae with chocolate fudge, caramel and whipped cream on his tummy. He's probably about 12 or 13 lbs. now. So far, his health is good. I think all the good love and care he got from you I your home is really paying off—he's doing great! He's pretty well housetrained—just a few accidents which are more our accidents than his.
Congratulations on all the new pups! I guess that keeps you busy. Hope we can send some customers your way some day. Then Willy can have play dates with them!

Murphy Brown-

Sire: Cartman (sold)
Dam: Tessa (sold)

From: chkrun@hotmail.com(cindy katzman)

3/1/07
I look at Murphy and can't believe that she will be 6 months old in just a few weeks! Just wanted to give you an update on her milestones. When I last wrote, Murphy had just been spayed. Well, she has done so well since then and now weighs about 9-10 lbs. She is pretty much housetrained and literally, the ONLY accidents happen when it is pouring rain. The little stinker has only pooped in the house 2 times in weeks- and yes, it was monsoon weather...I don't know, she is smart enough to know that she doesn't like to get her paws really wet- yep, she is a little bit of a princess! But, I am pleased to say that she learned(in ONE day!) to hit the cowbell that hangs from the kitchen door...and she uses it when she needs to go outside! And, yes, sometimes, she does a run-by swipe because she just wants to go outside to play- that happens once or twice a day...our trainer said she will get that out of her system as she matures. Right now, she sees that as a puppy-game...LOL!!

Her training has begun again and we are halfway through our training period. She can now "place" on her mat for 30 minutes at a time; she "places" on command with only the occasional need of the leash to help guide her in the right direction. She knows to sit/stay(working on a 3 minute one right now) and the down/stay(can already do this one for 3-4 minutes ...haven't tried it for any longer). Our walks are really enjoyable...she is learning to walk by me without straining at the leash- we still have some work to do but, as soon as the weather warms up some more, our walks will get longer!

Anyway, Murphy is doing wonderfully and we love her so much. Thank you for breeding such a terrific puppy for our family- she has the best disposition and has such an eagerness to learn. I really feel that I can teach her most anything- she is sooo quick to catch on. For the most part, she is curious to meet any and everyone. My trainer is a big help whenever I encounter a situation that might encourage a fear-reaction(like encountering an unfriendly dog, etc). I continue to marvel at our good fortune. Murphy is everything that you promised and we are having a ball with her. She has truly captured our hearts and we thank you for bringing her into our lives! I will write again later...more Murphy news to follow! Love, Cindy

P.S.: I loveeeee the new puppy pics- the deep buff brother/sis are amazing...makes me think of a future sibling for Murphy- I now know the coat color to consider to compliment my baby! Keep up your fantastic breeding program- look forward to all the new babies in the months/years to come! And, of course, you know that I will be more than happy to share Murphy-news with ANY potential mommies/daddies! Send them my way...I love to talk about our little girl...and YOU!

Happy Easter! Jeff and I wanted to email you to let you know how well Dash is doing. He just received his 16 weeks shots and is doing great. He is in a puppy kindergarten class and has learned how to sit, go down, stay, and is walking really well with Jeff and I. He is definitely the leader of the class! He is also sleeping through the night and completely potty-trained! We are so happy that he is apart of our family! He is such a joy!

We will try to keep you updated throughout the next few months!
I hope all the puppies are doing well. We keep up with your website and just love the pictures!

Have a Happy Easter.

Testiment:

I own two fabulous cockapoos.  Ziggy is 1.5 years old.  I "got" Ziggy from Shannon at Oz Cockapoos.  Ziggy was the runt of the litter and would not have survived if it wasn't for Shannon's care and support.  Ziggy is a very healthy, emotionally stable, confident, smart, easy to train, and basically a "good soul".
We decided that Ziggy needed a dog "sibling, since she is so social and loves to play.  We "got" Indie, now 6 months old from another breeder, since I knew I wanted an F1 merle.  Shannon had none available at that time.  Indie has all of the wonderful traits as Ziggy, but is less confident and more meek.  Shannon recognized a slight underbite from a photo.  The other breeder denied that there was an underbite.  There is.  It's just cosmetic and I would have purchased her anyway.  Shannon has the experience to know and always shares information with the potential new dog owners.       My vet, groomer, occasional dog walker all agree that Ziggy is more confident because of Shannon' nurturing.  I fell in love with Indie (from other breeder) online before I realized that she was from an "outdoor breeder".  Ziggy was born and nurtured in Shannon's home.   Shannon actually supplemented the mom's milk with extra feedings and nutrition 24 hours a day.
I would highly recommend Shannon as a breeder.  Shannon is still always available for advice on both dogs and is an important part of our lives.

Dear Shannon,
I hope all is well with you.
I don't even know where to begin with Ziggy.  She is the most amazing dog ever.  Everyone comments on her beautiful color.  Ziggy is the personality of the dog park. (As told to me by other people)  I'm sure that all of the nurturing and love you gave to her as a puppy makes all of the difference.  She loves anything that moves, pretty much.  I let her off leash at the dog park and she totally wears herself out. She's also one of the fastest dogs there.  I'll take some video for you soon.   Everyone comments on her beautiful color.  Our dog park is on the ocean , which is pretty beautiful.  Ziggy also loves the water at the dog park and at our cottage on Vancouver Island.  Ziggy plays with bugs too.  She plays with bees, unfortunately.  (stung twice)  When she accidently kills them by playing and they no longer move she barks at them to get up and play, we think.  She squats down with her bum in the air wagging her tail at them. It is absolutely the right thing to not dock her tail.  I can't even imagine her without it.   Silly silly girl.  Ziggy is completely house trained anywhere we go.  She has much more understanding of our language than any other pet we've had.
On the two days that I work Ziggy has a "professional dog walker", my friend, come in 2 times.  Karen adores Ziggy and Ziggy adores her.  My groomer, Liz, whom I've had since "Jessi" my maltipoo was a puppy and now with Ziggy watches her when I have to go away and can't take her.  Liz has a rescued blood hound and two chihuahuas, whom Ziggy gets along very well with.
I haven't weighed Ziggy lately, but we think she's probably between 13 and 15 lbs!!!!!!  We wouldn't have it any other way.

Take care!

Dear Shannon,
We are so happy with our puppies Madigan and Bandit.  Bandit is so mellow.  He is very affectionate and has a gorgeous coat.  Many of the neighbors say that he is their favorite of our cockapoos because of his calm, good nature.  More pictures soon.  Thanks for all your invaluable support and expertise during our cockapoo adoption process.
All the best,

Hi Shannon,

Cody is 6 month old now, and getting bigger and bigger.
He is wonderful and precious puppy and, as you can see, loves to play in (and eat) the snow.  Many thanks again.  Wishing you and your family a joyous holiday season and a happy New Year.

Cheers,
